Data Permissions

​Data permissions allow you to set your permissions on all your owned layers for a specific role, whether a purchased or added to your catalogue layer as contribution.
You can also manage permissions on each field under each layer and you can set capabilities for each layer

By selecting a specific role and a set of layers you will be giving the permission to all users under that role to access the selected layers. You can open any selected layer and select the fields to allow access.
  1. Log-in with your subscribed organization admin user (to know how to login follow the login process from here How to log in)
  2. Click Access levels and permissions then select Data permissions from the list


  3. On this page, you can see all your layers, the layers you contributed with and the ones you purchased


  4. Select the Role that you want to set your permissions for.
    The roles can be: Default or End-user, where the default roles are the ones existing by default after your subscription and the End-user roles are the roles that you can create after subscription 



  5. Select the layers that you want this role to have access to
  6. Unselect layers that you don’t want this role to have access to
  7. Click on the arrow beside each layer to preview its fields




  8. Select the fields that you want this role to have access to
  9. Unselect fields that you don’t want this role to have access to.

  10. Click on Save to save your changes, or cancel to abort all changes
