In this user guide, we will go in-depth through every detail and every function that you can perform on FGIC platform. We are here to make your everyday tasks easy and effective by knowing all the functions and features that you can manage through FGIC. 

FGIC is an on-premises data permission and maintenance platform containing different types of catalogues full of layers with the permissions and customizations that you need. 
So let’s start our journey! 

FGIC 

 “FGIC is simply a platform where you can onboard your layers, control their localization and permissions and generate as many secure, localized links as you need to share with your teams who use ArcGIS or QGIS or to be used in your own end-user's web and mobile applications.” 

FGIC is an on-premises security, maintenance and localization platform allowing customers to manage their layers with an advanced level of security that digs deep to the level of field, boundary and content as well as the ability to control layers’ queries, mapping or edits capabilities.  

FGIC allows customers to publish their layers only once, and share it as many as needed in a governed model with the ability to diagnose the difference between onboarding and original data, which optimizes hardware utilization in easy to maintain ECO system.  

FGIC supports customers to manage their layers localization with an embedded automatic translation engine.  

FGIC is a hassle-free environment aiming at enabling customers with an easy-to-use visual console to manage security, metadata and localization easily. FGIC also enables end-users to catalogue their permitted content with their language preference and provides Metadata Portal capabilities.  

FGIC is also a layer collaboration platform where each organization, manages its content sharing permissions whether to be shared with everyone in FGIC featured catalogue or to be shared with a specific organization or to keep it private for the organization team.
