What is translation reset?
Reset translation is used when you have the translation
override flag on, which will prohibit any automatic translations on the layer
metadata to take place, so when you reset, that will assure any updates taking
place on the layer, will be automatically translated. If it is on, updates will
not be automatically translated.
P.S. Resetting will auto translate your overridden
information and will keep the auto translation state on, so you will lose any
overrides that took place.
