There are 8 search criteria that you can use to narrow your search options:
1- Search by extended region: You can select on the map a region that you are searching for its available layers.
- Click on the + icon to zoom into the region you want then click on the E icon to draw a square over the intended region by clicking then dragging to select.
- You can click on the – icon to zoom out and adjust your location you can clear all your selections by clicking on Clear
2- Search by Name: where you can type the name of the layer that you want then click enter to start searching
3- Search by Subjects: You can choose from a list of subjects that the targeted layer could be related to. You can choose more than one subject by selecting the ones you find related
4- Search by Geometry: You can search by the geometric form for the layer by choosing whether point, line, polygon form or search for more than one form.
5- Search by Capabilities: You can choose to search for layers with specific capabilities such as print capability, edit capability, search capability and download capability.

6- Search by Description: it’s where you can enter the description of the layer you are searching for then click enter to start searching
7- Search by Organization: here you can search with the name of the organization that published the layer then click enter to start searching
8- Search by Date: Enter the layer publish date range by clicking the From field and choosing a date from the calendar, then click on the To field and choose the date limit from the calendar
- You can Click on Clear to clear all search filters
